Ashley's passion for architecture began at 15, where he was inspired by his father's work at the drawing board. His career pathway was confirmed after work experience placement at HYDE + HYDE, to which lead to enrolment on the BSc Architectural Technology Course at University of Wales Trinity St. David.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys outdoor activities and is heavily involved with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme in Wales. From completing the Gold Award to being 1 of 4 Ambassadors in Wales, he frequently attends Royal Events and Young Person training weekends. Challenges such as the Welsh 3 Peaks and an Arctic Expedition to Norway are amongst some of the tests faced from his involvement with the DofE Scheme.
