Do You Have a Candidate?

I refer, (obviously) to candidate sites for local development plans.

Local Development Plans are prepared so that each Local Authority can set out their land strategy for the coming years - but what does that mean? In summary, plans are drawn up allocating sites for housing, employment, tourism, retail, lesure, waste, amenity, open space community facilities, health provision etc.

Critically, this also includes the potential for new sites which are currently outside of development limits (often called green belt, green wedge or green field). These are called 'Candidate Sites'

Carmarthenshire County Council are currently receiving applications for candidate sites until 2pm on 29th August 2018. The clock is ticking, so if you have land in Carmarthenshire that you think is ripe for development, then why not apply. You can either apply directly to the council, or get in touch with me and I can provide you with some creative guidance and advice.
